Leslie Barton Photography
Leslie Barton is a Wedding Photographer In Los Angeles, California.
Well designed and stylish site. Presents the work in a fresh
and easy to view fashion.
Challenges:
Search Engines are not going to find this site! The Flash
dependancy prohibits indexing and therefor the marketing
must be 'driven' - with no passive markeitng possible.

Snapshots of a pop obsessive
Interview with photographer Chris Buck
by Scott Woods
Pop photographer Chris Buck has kept me entertained for
the better part of
ten years now with stories of his professional encounters
and other
work-and-music-related musings. On a recent roundtrip to
Toronto from New York,
Chris agreed to chat with me, live, on tape, about his trade,
his passions, his techniques,
his nervous system, and just about anything else that crossed
our minds at the time.

Here is an interesting approach to marketing photography and
art.
Create a 'Guide to the area' where you live, illustrate it
and get people to see your work. Point Reyes is one of my
favorite spots in the world. These
folks' too, it would seem. "Welcome to Point Reyes'
most complete guide to beaches, photographs, maps, trail
guides, oyster farms, organic food, paintings, and community
services. |
Here is a great site offering Discussion Forums, Galleries,

We believe you should sell photographs... so do these photographers.
"Three
from New Mexico"
We are showing some beautiful prints contained in three
portfolios by photographers who either live or used to live
in New Mexico. Eliot Porters In Wildness is a portfolio
of photographs with a general landscape theme. They are
made with the late, luxurious dye transfer method of printing.
New Mexico Landscapes features two prints each by prominent
photographers. These prints are only available in this portfolio.
Portfolio I: The Moradas of the Penitente Brotherhood features
the fine work of Craig Varjabedian. He is one of the few
people to be allowed to photograph these wonderful structures
of the secretive Penitente Brotherhood.
One World Photography was first established in 1995 to
represent and promote a brotherhood of photographers and
other talents from within Africa and Asia.
From the beginning their ideology has been; Through proper
approach photography can give aid to the less fortunate
by showing the true scars of the world through images.
Working daily in 36 nations inside Africa and Asia their
coverage is primarily photojournalistic, based on human
rights issues and war zone coverage, but does extend much
further with film productions, reports, expedition coverage
as well as their properly designed aid programs.
One World Photo is partially a non-profit organization
and each year they allocate aid to areas they cover and
work. This is done in part by way of food donations, home
building/repair aid, press aid, legal aid, sponsorship drives,
intelligence reports and cash donations.
Additionally they highlight various NGO accomplishments
and progress and give backing for those whol meet the real
needs of the people they are to help and uncover those that
abuse the system.
