What is a blog?

A "Blog" is a chronological diary, journal, commentary and simple notes. Blogs are online journals that allow anyone with internet access to publish to the world. "Blogs" evolved from "web logs", which were nothing more than personal journals published on the web for all to see. Blogs have grown quite a bit since the early days (the late 1990's) and now may offer several interactive and multimedia features depending on what the author wants to share. There are Blogs on just about any and every subject you can imagine.

What is a photoblog?

A photoblog is a blog that is regularly updated with photos. Some photoblogs focus only on personal photography, while others have commercial or 'fine art' photos. Photoblogs can have commentary with the Blogs or simply be photographs presented in groups or singly. Photoblogs consider photos to be an integral part of the chronological blogging structure.

Should you have a PhotoBlog?

We very much believe that you should. It is a wonderful way to show off your work, create interesting photographs and share a more personal vision with viewers. Studios can keep their customers informed and commercial photogs can stay in touch with clients and associates with a more interesting vehicle than simply e-mail.
