1. Introduce yourself: (name / where you work)
Melody E. Koert Lelystad Netherlands.
Photographer and Artist for ArtAttack2go.

I'm American, (New Boston, Ohio) my husband Marcel is Dutch (Rotterdam). That is how I came to my new world.

I've been dabbling in art all my life, I started taking professional photography when I was in my 20's. It wasn't until recently that I picked up my old hobby.

2. How long have you been shooting?
20 years

3. Favorite subject matter?
Florals, and Landscapes

4. What do you look for in an image?
What I look for in images, is something that makes me STOP, even if it's long enough to take memory ride, or to imagine standing in front of the object/subject and adding my own perspective and special accent, that changes an image into a thought.

5. What do you want people to take away from viewing your work?
I want them to momentarilly escape into the Photo/Art. To take the image and produce it into their imagination (accompanied by smells and sounds). I want them to go INTO the photo, (per chance to daydream), to travel within the photo/art. To go backwards or forwards, but pausing time to FEEL. My highest achievement is when others see a photo or art piece that I have created, and can see my personality in the presentation.

6. Do you use any special processes in creating your images?

I use Photoshop some times to create different effects.

7. What marketing methods are you currently employing?
Since I have just started this new Gallery, my methods of marketing thus far has only been through exhibits and websites such as webshot.com, thus my audience and regular viewers have become part of my works, sometimes it is through what they have felt and or emotions that I try to capture in a photo what they are feeling. To somehow take their words and find the right subject to express their feelings.

8. Tell us the best and worst photographic story from your career.
Worst : Trying to force my children to be subject matters for my photo's, especially when under attack from various "FOWL" subjects. Often in the haste of my retreat, children were left behind to fend off attacks. Often, and I do mean OFTEN, my children were NOT anxious to ever go out on a photo shot again.
Best: Trying to force my children to be subject matters for my photo's, especially when trying to keep a straight face as things was happening in the background that would scare any human being. I had the upper hand, I had the car, and they could be grounded for life.

9. What equipment do you use to create your images?
Fuji Fine Pix S5000, and PhotoShop CS.

10. If you could add anything to your portfolio, what would it be?
Buyers
